Southshore is proud to announce that our third party logistics and transportation operations have been re-certified by Management Certification of North America (MCNA) to the ISO 9001:2015 Standard as of November 2018. Southshore has continuously and successfully renewed its commitments to quality management through a structured ISO standards process since 2008. This achievement demonstrates Southshore’s ongoing commitment to quality and superior customer service. The ISO 9001:2015 Standard is an effective quality management system which provides Southshore with a formal platform for continuous process improvements and a mechanism for measurements against quality goals. The quality management system utilizes a set of procedures spanning all key business processes. Regular measurements against upper management determined metrics ensures that quality processes are effective and are achieving the objectives of continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and are in line with Southshore’s top line strategies.
The Southshore Quality Management System (QMS) is formally examined through an on-site surveillance audit every two years by MCNA, an independent, third party auditing company. MCNA states that Southshore’s QMS is data driven with a focus on the customer and superior management. Maintaining this ISO certification requires a company-wide culture of quality-minded individuals and exhibits Southshore's ongoing dedication to exceptional customer service. Southshore’s QMS is the responsibility of every Southshore operations team member under the leadership of Denise Whitaker and Bob Oberheu.
